First things first, I’m writing this review about 2.5 months since I shifted out of there into another Stanza in Pune. I have to say that Bilbao House was, and has been the best stanza I’ve ever lived in so far. The friendships formed, acquaintances made and the overall environment inside, specially on the top canteen floor and game areas. And I am eternally grateful to them for helping us host Ganapati celebrations which were absolutely dhamakedaar. The area immediately around Bilbao is pathetic, however the walking trips I’ve had to HSR and my office nearby and my dance classes made the whole experience of a year so memorable. Stanza living varies depending on locality to locality, and as a kind neighbor once said ‘it depends on where you’re willing to compromise’. Stanza Bilbao is the first hostel accommodation I’ve lived in since I moved out of home. The food does become very monotonous but if you make an effort to know even some people and mingle with them, the moments and experiences will be immensely glorious. One thing I absolutely disliked about my previous and current stanza is the one big brick wall of the next building within just one arm’s distance from our window.
