Frankly, I did not want to live in a hostel because of the restrictions and unavailability of some amenities. Even if that would have been sorted, being a Bong, from Kolkata, the one thing that I was the most apprehensive about while moving to Pune was food. I did not expect food that was even close to home from a Living space. But I did. Food here genuinely tastes good. Stanza Living provides us with a healthy and balanced diet and we get non vegetarian options multiples days a week. Apart from that, room's are cleaned regularly, proper sanitation is maintained. We have the service of laundry takeaway twice a week, and two washing machines available for personal use 24*7. The Wifi connection is pretty good and aids me in studies and binging movies and shows. All the other residents, including my friends and seniors, are very warm and helpful. Everyone treats you as their own and we are one big family. Our seniors, or 'bhaiyas', help us every step of the way in navigating through law school and life. I would also like to give a special shoutout to Babu bhaiya and Kulbhushan Bhaiya, who are always there for us whenever we have any issues, from food to laundry. Last but definitely not the least, I would like to sincerely thank Suvro Da. Dada has helped me and been there for me as a guide in these few months. Update (13th June):Got my refund deposit back completely Update (12th June): I moved out on 28th March, and it’s been 76 days since—still no sign of my refundable deposit, which they promised to return in 45 days. For those who’ve stayed with Stanza, you know the deposit isn’t a small amount. For a brand that markets itself as “professional” and “hassle-free”, this kind of delay is unacceptable. It damages trust and questions the credibility of everything Stanza claims to stand for. I’ll continue to post updates—let’s see if they actually return what’s rightfully mine. I’ve been staying here for the past four months, and it’s been a great experience. The food is the highlight—delicious and inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. The laundry services are a real time-saver, making daily life much easier. The vibe here is also fantastic! Although I’m a working professional, the majority of residents (about 80%) are students from Symbiosis. Despite that, the community is welcoming, and everyone here is great. A special shoutout to Surva Bhaiya—he’s the best captain! Also, a big thanks to caretakers Kulbhushan and Babu Bhaiya for their amazing support and hospitality. Short Review: Much Recommended. The features as advertised are present in this property - fast wifi, laundry, food, housekeeping etc. Options available: Single, double and triple-sharing. Long Review: This property is in the capable hands of Suvro Bhaiyya, who is much more than a chill warden - playing the dual role of a friend and a mentor for us. He’s very open to take feedbacks and complaints and passes it on to the upper management without delay and gets issues rectified very soon, which uplifts the staying experience. I recommend this property to one and all, especially considering it’s less than a kilometre away from Symbiosis Law School and within a reasonable distance from the Management school as well. I’ve stayed in the triple-sharing as well as the single-bed room. You may also avail the twin-sharing room depending on your preferences and comfort zone. My experience at Stanza living Evansville house has been phenomenal. Stanza provides you with amazing food and proper and timely laundry and room cleaning service. Now coming to the exciting part, we have a lot of fun at Evansville house. Stanza has ensured that there is no boredom during the lockdown. All the credit goes to the captain of the house, Suvro Bhaiya. He is truly a gem. He ensured that the house is filled with fun. We regularly have movie afternoons and various game tournaments. We have had cricket and carrom tournaments. Moreover, we have quiz competitions such as the rapid fire quiz and the KBC quiz. These competitions are filled with exciting prizes such as amazon gift vouchers and value adding books such as The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham and Frekonomics.
